Frequently Asked Questions

Often times we receive the same questions from clients and so we have created a “Frequently Asked Questions” section for you to quickly find answers. If you cannot find your answer here, please email support@sxsfitness.ca or call us and we will be happy to respond. We’ll also try to add your question to the list to help future visitors.

When is SXS opening up for training and classes?

Currently, we are closed due to regulations determined by Health Canada and the Province of Ontario that govern our business. As soon as it is safe to open we will let our clients know. We are working hard every day to ensure the training space meets all requirements and is clean and safe. Your safety is our first priority. We have also implemented various protocols to ensure this.

What is your class schedule for Group Fitness?

Refer to the Group Fitness schedule page. Please note that in an effort to manage numbers in the fitness studio, you must reserve a spot in advance. Our class times have also changed slightly to mitigate overlap between class attendees.

Do you provide water during workouts?

In order to reduce the risk and keep clients safe, we have made the decision to stop providing water in our coolers. Please plan ahead and bring your own water bottle with chilled water. We will also provide water for purchase, but we would prefer to save the environment and have you bring your own in a refillable container.

Do you provide towel service?

In order to keep our clients safe, we have made the decision to not provide towel service until it is safe to do so again. We recommend that you bring your own clean towel and take it with you when you leave. We will provide paper towels and cleaning supplies to wipe down and sanitize equipment, mats, and the general training space.

When can I show up for my class or training session?

In order to reduce the risk of large groups in the training studio, please arrive no earlier than 5-minutes before your scheduled session. This should be enough time for you to switch to your training shoes and their will be a designated warm-up area. If you arrive more than 5-minutes before please either wait in your car or outside the gym – ensuring 2m distance between other gym patrons.

How do I reserve a spot in a Group Fitness class?

Please use the MINDBODY app to book a class. You can do this by downloading the app for iOS or Android and logging into your MINDBODY account. You can also do this from a tablet or personal computer through the MINDBODY website. If you have any issues please email booking@sxsfitness.ca or call 647-352-2348.
